A real Van Buren claim we handled

January 2022 commercial building fire
One fire meant two claims: the owner’s building claim and the tenant’s business-contents claim. For the building, we got a $100,000 advance and then worked the full structure and debris removal claim. For the business, the owner had already listed close to $138,000 in equipment and stock, and we documented the rest, answered the insurer’s documentation requests and pushed for a supplemental payment and loss-of-business income.
Result: About $390,558 across both claims. The building claim recovered $257,659 ($100,000 advance + $114,283 + $18,375 + $25,000 debris removal). The business claim recovered $132,899 ($25,000 + $94,252 supplemental + $13,647 loss of business income).
What we do on a Indiana claim
- Handle the building owner’s and the tenant’s claims side by side.
- Get an advance so cleanup and rebuilding can start.
- Document business equipment, inventory and lost income.
- Push for supplemental payments as the documentation comes in.
How we get paid
There is no upfront fee. We are paid a percentage of what the claim pays, under a written contract you sign before we start.
