Real Raleigh claims we have handled

These are summaries from CMA claim files. Names, addresses and claim details are left out to protect our client. Every claim is different, and past results do not guarantee a future outcome.

February 2024 house fire, personal property claim

The family signed with us about five months after the fire, and a relative helped manage the claim for the homeowner. We took over the personal property (contents) claim, sent our contract and requested the policy, and built and priced the inventory. When the insurer’s pricing did not match ours, we sent a written list of the discrepancies and pressed for answers, escalating to a supervisor when replies stalled.

Result: The contents claim was documented at $92,922 in replacement-cost value.

February 2020 roof damage claim

On a separate Raleigh claim, the insurer’s estimate was only $1,486. We ordered an aerial roof report because the adjuster had not documented enough, then wrote our own estimate and submitted it with our contract.

Result: The claim went from $1,486 to $29,485, an increase of $27,999.
